Hello for the last time dear 49 and Market fans!
I am sharing my last project for the year and also my last project as a design team member for 49 and Market. It has been a wonderful 2 years with this amazing Brand. I absolutely love the gorgeous designs and amazing products, especially the Rub-on Transfers! It was difficult to choose a collection for my final project, but eventually, I chose ARToptions Plum Grove.
I thought this photograph of my daughter looking back over her shoulder is quite ap for this layout. Looking back over the past two years, made me realize the importance of gratitude for what you have and achieved. The colour pallet of Plum Grove has become a stern favorite and it compliments my daughter’s coloring.
I like to have a “frame” around my layouts, therefor I trim the top page and distress it. The paper I chose for the background is very neutral, so I used ARToptions Plum Grove rub-on transfers and Spectrum Sherbet Assorted-Washi tape, as well as gold All Purpose Ink splatters, to add more interest to the background page.
I layered different pieces of Curators Essential Remnants and frames from ARToptions Plum Grove Laser-cut Elements and 3×4 File Frame Set behind the photograph. All the pieces are distressed and some are raised with foam tape. I also used a frame from the laser-cut pieces and added a metal clip with a rub-on sentiment. I created a flower cluster on both sides of the photograph with a combination of printed flowers and leaves from the Laser-cut sheet, as well as various paper flowers.
Here is a closer look at the embellishment cluster on the left of the photograph: it is a collection of rub-on transfers, laser-cut pieces, and flowers. Also, some sequins and gold ink splatters!
The title of the page is part of the embellishment cluster on the right of the photograph. I repeated what I did on the lefthand side, and added a chipboard piece with a sentiment as the title of the layout.
And that is it!
