Hello, 49 and Market fans! Antonia with you today sharing a new layout featuring Naturalist collection. It is as magical paper collection that I decided to use it as much as possible: that’s why you see lots of laser cuts from it, arranged with flowers from the same collection to make it pop! And, as it is being usual, I used a photo made by a great photographer, Daria Orlova (please check her profile!).
Do we start creating? First thing first: selecting the best background paper that match the photo and glueing it down onto a 2mm cardboard to give it stability. I was sure of using lots of the leaves from the laser cuts, so next thing was taking them and give movement to the leaves with a tool. Afterwards I checked my stash in looking for flowers. I took some white ones, but then I also chose some oranges and yellows to make the layout shine. And when there was time for the composition… there it was! I saw that wonderful window on the laser cuts paper… that was love at first sight! I started to look for a good background for it, as I didn’t want it to be empty without a background. I chose one of the papers from the same collection, that was full with words, flowers and splashes with greens and browns. Using 5 mm cardboard from a box, I started to layer all the elements, starting by the window and matting the photo.
I enjoyed layering lots of leaves and flowers along with some resin embellishments. When this was done, I added lots of rub-on transfers (don’t forget to use them, they are stunning!!) and finished the project by adding some here and there.
