Today I am sharing a layout using the lucious Spectrum Sherbet collection. These colors are so yummy and summery and so much fun! I used them to highlight a photo of our daughter when she was a teen. The colors matched the photo perfectly! And the collection is just right to highlight the personality of a bright and bubbly teen!!!
I started out by taking three different sheets of the solids and cutting random circles from each. I didn’t try to be neat with my cutting I wanted a rough look. I centered my photo and main elements in the center of them. I used the chipboard word “awesome” for part of the title.
I used a tag and added the word “You” from the chipboard words and also a little heart from the same set. I added a small bloom and attached the tag with a little mini index clip to part of the main layer.
I added lots of the laser cut elements, blooms, and especially the gorgeous leaves. These are absolutely beautiful. I used small foam dots to give them more dimension. I added Royal Spray blooms in sunshine and bashful as well.
I used the Painted Foundations paper for the background. I used the sheet called “Speckled”, I thought the little dots would be perfect for the circle theme. All in all, I thought this collection was one of the most fun and colorful ever and I totally love its versatility!!! I am going to do a boy page next!
