I love the new travel range, Anywhere, and how well it works to scrapbook photos other than travel photos. I had these photos from my son leaving to go on his school camp and I knew the Anywhere range would be just perfect. To shake things up a bit, I decided to go with the amazing Bibliophile paper from the Vintage Artistry Sky range as my background paper – it provided a relatively neutral background that works so well with the Anywhere range.
I decided that I was going to build my layout from the frame section that is printed onto the centre of the Bibliophile paper. To start, I used the Anywhere rub-on transfers to give a travel type theme to the Bibliophile paper. I added the rub-ons to the lower left and upper right corners of the page. As with all 49 and Market rub-ons they go on beautifully and layer well over each other. I then added drips of ink and mist around the rub-ons in blue and gold.
I knew I was going to create a strip with my photos and a journaling card from the Journal Cards paper in the Anywhere range, so I decided to layer some tags and strips under where the journaling tag was going to sit. The photo strip and the tag with the eyelet is from the laser cut sheets in the Anywhere Collection, the notes tag is from the Journal Cards paper with a notch cut into the bottom of it.
To highlight the photos I added a frame with the tie around feature from the laser cut sheets in the Anywhere Collection and a cluster of flowers from the Country Booms Ginger, Sugar Posies Butterscotch and Maura’s Vineyard Chardonnay to the left of the photo, along with chipboard pieces from the Anywhere Chipboard Stickers and some sewing thread.
The layout was finished with one of the super cute new Shaped Clips from the Essentials range, a chipboard title from the Chipboard Stickers, a heart from the laser cut sheets and a final couple of flowers.
Although travel is harder at the moment, this range is perfect for scrapbooking a range of memories. I hope that you get some creative time in soon.
