On this layout, I am using Vintage Artistry Shore with photos of my son looking very dapper before he heads off to a school graduation party. I have also added in lots of the new Vintage Artistry Anywhere rub-ons, some of the Vintage Artistry Essentials washi tape words, a couple of the tabs from the Essentials 3×4 File Frame set, a clip from the Dark Greige Shaped Clips, and some strips of Vintage Artistry Coral washi tape.
Most of this layout is made using the papers and laser cuts from the Vintage Artistry Shore collection pack. I chose Shore Triton’s Shell as the base, but I retained the salvage strip at the bottom and trimmed it to 12 inches from the top.
I created a row of strips down the left side from strips in the laser cuts. I have layered two distressed frames and postcards from the laser cuts behind my 5×7 inch photo and then tucked in two of the tabs from the 3×4 Frame set at the top. It is great that there are separate tabs in these sets that you can use without the actual frames.
I have then used clusters of Shore laser cuts, Anywhere rub-ons, and the shaped clip in the top left, bottom left, and right of the photo.
I have torn and distressed a section out of the top edge of the Triton’s Shell paper and back it with a piece of the back of the Collection Pack cover sheet. Tearing a section out of the background paper and backing it has become one of my favourite techniques lately. It is something that I use to do years ago – but as they say, everything old becomes new again!
I added some Coral Washi tape to the paper strips on the left and the bottom right corner along the retained salvage edge, then some more Anywhere Rubons over that washi tape and around the edges of the page. I finally made the title below the photos with words from the Essentials Wash tape.
