Hello beautiful people.
I’m here to show you my second April project for the blog, in this case, a mini-album with a drop-down structure.
Below I will detail the step-by-step of how I have done it.
1.- I have cut 7 pieces of cardboard, and I have joined them with adhesive craft tape. Once I joined the 7 pieces, I have put navy blue binding cloth on it.
2.- The interior is made with two notebooks sewn with striped strings to two mini spines. I have made the notebooks with Remnants Mini 12 × 12 Collection Pack and blue cardboard.
3.- In a piece of cardboard, subtracting one centimeter from the cover, I have made a composition first using the Vintage Artistry Coral Nouveau Ephemera Stack creating layers. In second place to continue with the composition, I have added the laser cuts of the Remnants Mini 12 × 12 Collection Pack.
To finish, I have added two types of flowers, the Enchanted Petals – Ballet Slipper and the Maura’s Vineyard – Rosé.
Once the composition is finished and harmony is achieved, I glue the cardboard base on the cover of the structure with blok glue.
4- For the closing of the album as well as for some touch of the cover I have used shabby pink silk ribbon.
I have also added pearlescent pearls in darker pink, thus achieving contrast.
As a final finish, I have added white gesso with a dry brush and sprinkled with white.
I have made this album so that each notebook serves as a journal, and in those days when I want to express myself or try new techniques, they are saved forever.
