Hello,
I am here today again, in this case with a marine project, I have made it for all of you but especially for Eric as a gift in his communion, the photograph that I have used I have previously made it myself on the beach, a photo of my son and his good friend that will last in time.

Next, I want to share with you in detail how I have done it.

  1. The collection that I have used, Vintage Artistry Shore 12 × 12, from which I have chosen two of its leaves, the Vintage Artistry Shore- Tidepool that as you can see I have broken all the edges that in this case has been made by hand and as a base the Vintage Artistry Shore- Triton’s Shell that for a better firmness of the project I have glued to a cardboard base.
(Each sheet that I used I have inked them with brown distress for a more vintage effect).
  2.  Of the remaining sheets, I have taken another one of which one of the pieces I have used to make a frame for the photograph and another as a background to generate layers breaking its edges in the same way as the main page (inking the edges with distress).Always Together - Layout by Soledad Jimenez
  3. I remove the mold from the laser cutters to start the assembly. The page I have chosen has a guide frame that I used for my composition.
  4. As I always do, I let myself go and I end up using almost all the cutouts in two compositions, a small upper one and the main one in the photo caption. To achieve a layered effect I use cardboard pieces under each piece that helps me achieve a balance in the volumes.Always Together - Layout by Soledad Jimenez
  5. As a message, I used one of the phrases that come at the bottom of the pages, which I prior glued on a 1.5 mm cardboard.
  6. Once the composition is finished I used the Vintage Artistry Coral / Natural Rub-On Transfers – Expected back in stock 7/2 which I find perfect for their color and for their perfect phrases since Marcos and Eric are friends who always want to be together.
  7. As a more marine touch and because it seems like a perfect complement I used Vintage Artistry Shore Rub-Ons to get a more perfect background.Always Together - Layout by Soledad Jimenez
  8. For better integration, with a sponge brush and with brown distress, I made shadows under the two compositions and the message, giving a more vintage effect.
  9. As the final touch, I have added a Vintage Artistry Essentials – Shaped Clips – Dark Greige on the upper top of the edge.
  10. To finish the job I have put a touch of fairy dust, some pearlescent pearls, and sparkles.Always Together - Layout by Soledad Jimenez

I have really enjoyed this project, it is very easy for me to work with marine collections since I feel a special connection with the sea.
