Hello,
I love the new travel range, Vintage Artistry Anywhere. For this layout, I have chosen to use this range for scrapbooking photos of my son out bushwalking in the Blue Mountains in Australia.
I love circles, so the At the Core paper called for me to use it. The stitched, distressed circle printed onto this paper is just amazing and works so well to bring attention to my row of photos that I have included within the circle.
There are some great designs in the laser cuts that are in the 12×12 Vintage Artistry Anywhere Collection pack, and I have chosen to use the signpost and the elastic. The signpost works perfectly between the first and second photos and the elastic (which looks so real but is a laser cut!) is perfect on the final photo.
To enhance the pre-printed design on the paper and draw even more attention to the photos, I have created a cluster below the photos of an Anywhere rub-on transfer (map), the laser cut Adventure title, a chipboard phrase, and heart, a piece of sage washi tape and items from the Anywhere Ephemera (frame, flag, ticket).
I have finished the layout off by stamping compasses from the Anywhere stamp set to the left of the cluster, below the cluster and above the photos using distress oxide ink. I then used the same ink to make a distressed blue border around the layout and add splatters.
