Hello, 49 and Market fans!
We are almost at the end of this strange year, and it’s that time of the year in which magic awakes and I think about adventures ahead in magical worlds. This stunning photo was made by Liya Milk mixing up her two kids and a snail and giving the composition a little bit of magic dust. And the final photo remembered me about two little gnomes living an adventure in a forest. So there we go!
Firstly, I glued the background paper onto a 2mm cardboard in 12×12 inches. I decided to work a background using washi strips in Coral from the Vintage Artistry range (aren’t they gorgeous??). If you didn’t know about it, these washi strips can be stamped on, so when my composition was done, I took two stamp sets from 49 & Market and played with them over the paper. Afterward, it was time to think about the composition. I was sure about working on a flower and leaves row on the downside of the layout. I took some swirly chipboard to give movement to the whole layout and added flowers from different sizes and types. I also used laser cuts and layered embellishments branches to create the forest. They are great to add a touch of texture to the projects, photograph beautifully, and add dimension to any composition.
When I was happy with the result, painted the chipboard in greens and oranges and started to glue everything down onto the background. As you may know, I love creating layers, so I took the time to work on them. I also worked on the upper right side to add some beauty touches along with the layout title. As final touches, I added some Wishing bubbles, orange color splashes, and art stones for a more textured finish.
