Hi everyone!
I hope you are well. Here is my last creation from May. I made a layout with the beautiful Vintage Artistry Blush collection. I love this collection but it intimidated me a bit with all that pink. I could have used it with a photo of myself but I decided to use a photo of my son, yes yes even with a lot of pinks.
As usual, I started with a coat of clear gesso all over the background paper, because I know I will be playing with inks and water. I made sewing circles with a stencil and a very dark chalk paste, I let it dry, when it was dry I put the stencil back in the same place and I put lighter chalk paste to soften the pattern. I did green spots with Liquid Acrylic diluted with a little water.
I used a wooden round to put under the photo. I put white gesso on it and before it dries I stamped a foliage design with Best Ever Stamp set and writing with Ticket Express Stamp Set, I didn’t think I would put that much on the ground so we don’t see the patterns much anymore but they are there 🙂 Then I colored it with pink watercolor paint and green and brown paints. Under the photo, I put several elements of the laser cuts bonus sheet, ephemera from the Vintage Artistry Essentials collection.
Then my favorite moment, the bouquets of flowers. I used the foliage from the package of new Majestic Bouquet flowers and 3 flower colors, I really like mixing the flower colors. I have also laser-cut flowers from the bonus sheet. Between the flowers, I put some lace that I tore.
At the top and at the bottom of the page I added other laser cuts and some flowers. To finish I made green and white drops, I put a title, some Rub-ons and Wishing Bubbles and voila.
