Hi everyone!
Today I’m with you to show you my last creation of the month of February. I made a page with paper and laser cuts from the beautiful Vintage Artistry Everyday collection.
To start, I put a layer of transparent gesso all over the background paper. Then I glue on a thick cardboard so that my page remains straight. I made patterns with a stencil, Distress Oxide Mustard Seed ink, and a sponge. I used a second writing pattern stencil and White sand texture paste. I used a few colors of Liquid Acrylic diluted with water to make a watercolor effect all over the background of my page and smudge color here and there. I used two sets of stamps, Pascale’s Rations and Gabi’s Patterned Textures with black permeable ink and gray ink.
Under the picture, I put some die-cut pieces from the Everyday Ephemera Stacks package, some laser cuts and some pieces of paper from the 6×6 Vintage Artistry Butter pad, and some laser cuts from the Bold and Beautiful collection.
On the cast clock, I put gray and yellow paint and a little white gesso to bring out the details. On the sheet moldings, I started with a layer of white gesso to seal the piece then I put green Distress ink, Liquid Acrylic, and yellow paint.
I used several kinds of flowers to make the floral arrangement, laser-cut foliage, butterflies, and flowers. I finished with enamel dots from the Layered Embellishment Set package and lots of white drops.
