Sweet memories

Hello dear friends.

It’s November already and  as we draw closer to the end of the year,  we are seeing  fairy lights, Christmas Trees, beautiful decorations and yummy foods appear on the shelves. In as little as 7 weeks it will be Christmas, so whilst some of us still need to battle out this last couple of weeks to get through our chores, assignments and work  I’d thought I’d share a taste of  the Christmas magic that’s to come. Whilst it’s not a typical Christmas layout, many associate Christmas with snow and last year I had the privilege of experiencing it for the first time.

49 And Market Products used:

Scents of Nature – “The Forgotten” Paper

“Stargazers” – White

“Vintage Shades Potpourri” – Sage

“Botanical Potpourri” – Snow

“Garden Seeds” – Aloe

“Tattered Garden” – Laser Cut Sheet

As you can see from the above list I used a number of older and newer products to create this layout. Somehow the “Scents of Nature Collection, always remained as one of my old time favourites. Maybe it’s because it was the first 49 And Market Collection I ever used. Maybe it’s because the combination of colours or maybe because of the combination of flowers and clocks, grunge and pretty. Either way I love it so I decided to use the reverse side of “The Forgotten” paper as my background.

I started by adding some modelling paste through a stencil. To add texture I added  textured lace pieces from Crystal Candy and scrap pieces of vintage lace. As you can see I used  lots of different flowers including my favourite Stargazers, Vintage Shades Potpourri, Botanical Potpourri and Garden Seeds.

To add more detail I added flowers and leaves from the Tattered Garden Laser Cut Sheet.

Last but not least I finished it off by adding a title and words using 13arts Stickers, splash glitter and 3D balls.

Thank you so much for visiting us today. I really hope you enjoyed your time here. Till next time, have fun creating.
