Hello 49andMarket friends. Tina with you today to share my next project. By now I think everyone would know that I love the beach and there is nothing better for me than to create projects recreating my memories from the photos.
This is titled “Here”…….
As with everything I do I start with one piece of paper and midway through I totally change my mind and sometimes the whole project. But not this time. No this time I did exactly as I expected. And I finally got to use a piece of paper from the Rusty Autumn collection that I have been wanting to use forever and boy am I glad I did. Yes Falling Leaves was my background piece. I also used a second piece of this along with matting for my photo cut from the Lookout from the Sand and Sea collection.
The blue across my background paper was created using my palette knife and white gesso. I created peaks and drew inspiration of the waves from the photo. I created peaks like that in the waves in the ocean. If you look very hard you may see some of this but I did end up covering a lot of it up with my embellishments.
I have used the Laser Cuts from the Captured Adventures Laser Cut collection. The word above “Here” is from this. Isn’t this just elegant. Love it. And the colour was a perfect match for my layout.
I have also included lots of yummy gorgeous 49andMarket flowers from my ever growing collection. I used multiple colours from my extras basket.
These were dusted with a little white gesso to give the white wash effect of the beach. I also popped in some tea stained muslin along with 49andMarket’s Jute Cording that was coloured with acrylic paints and distressed to represent sea weed or waves…….
And you can see above and below that I have used some Dusty Attic chipboards to help complete my layout and also shells and artstones that have been coloured with acrylic paints to compliment my layout.
Well that is all that I have for you today. I hope I have inspired you in some small way to get your creative on this week, and if you happen to enjoy your time doing so.
Until next time take care . xxx
