Guest Designer: Gerry van Gent has one to Cherish

Cherish by Gerry van Gent

Gerry van Gent continues to awe us with her creativity and mix of colors.  Her latest layout was inspired by the February Dusty Attic Mood Board and boy did she make those colors work here!

As always Gerry’s attention to detail seamlessly blends all elements.  For the layout, Gerry uses our brand new Laser Cut Frame sets.  These are the perfect addition for detail in your project without all the fuss of fussy cutting.  Not to mention the precision is so spot on!!  In addition, Gerry likes to make things pop just a bit. To do this she not only uses dimensional tape but she embosses and distressed the cut outs so that they have a natural look to them.  Here’s some close ups…

Another fabulous touch Gerry adds is some glitter to her Sage Botanical Blends.  To really make things shine and to pick up a bit of shimmer from the Stargazer flowers, the subtle addition of glitter brings it all together.

Thank you Gerry van Gent for being a guest designer and showcasing some of our brand new Vintage Remnant products.
