Hello happy crafters! Karola here again with my second page for that weekend!
This time I wanted to play with different collection, different kind of photo and create something warm, springy and fairly-looking.
Yes… as you can guess easily – today is the day of Flower Fairies of Spring collection!
I truly love the enchanting and magical atmosphere of this line and I was sure it would be perfect for one of my favourite photos of Rose, my daughter. She is a teenager now, but in the photo she was a cute 4 y.o. girl – a kind of little fairy.
I used here, as the main decoration something fantastic, something new… do you see that dimensional leaves? I am a teaser girl today, but I bet you will love that 3d embellies! In the meantime, keep in touch with our website, Facebook Fanpage and Instagram to be first who will see that new-beautiful-something!
Let’s get back to the papers… For the background used Lost Postcard paper and decorated it used modeling paste and mask. Then I started to create an arrangement with my photo. Fussy cutting was a must, so I used In the Garden sheet to cut out all the flowers, the divided them in a few parts and added on my page. I wanted to highlight fairy look by adding a few fussy cut fairies around a photo, so I cut them from Spring Cut Out Sheet and Lost Postcard.
The beautiful flowers I used are mostly from newest release Vintage Shades. I used: Ecru Bouquet, Blue Blossoms and Ecru Blossoms. I also cut stunning Garden Vine – Dusty Shale and added above and below of the photo.
Finishing touches here are a bit of white gesso here and there and brown, mustard and white splashes (watercolors).
I don’t know about you, but here in Poland it is still winter, so I am really glad to create a page in such a spring mood.
Thanks for visiting us today and have a wonderful new week!
