“Our Everyday Life” by Gerry van Gent

Hello crafters from all over the world!

The last month of the year has just begun and soon we will greet 2017. For me this year passed imperceptibly. I learnt a lot, I experienced a lot, met so many amazing people and visited so many amazing places. I can’t wait to see what 2017 has to offer for me. Bring it on!

Today I prepared for you another canvas panel (A4) featuring “Heirloom Botanicals” collection.

Here are a lot of close-ups for you…

1

I used here the Buttons Stamp (Grunge Texture stamp set) with real buttons. I didn’t want to add too many buttons because I didn’t want to “cover” the charm of this awesome stamp design.

2

I used different round and swirly dies for decoration. Dies are perfect for leftover papers – not only you use the papers to the max but also you create your own embellishments.

For the Burlap circle I used once again a die. Burlap circles got a layer of gesso.

I added to all paper flowers touches of glitter (Stickles).
