“Dreamer Boy” by Gerry van Gent

Hello crafty friends and Happy 1st of July!

Today I have a layout to share with you featuring once again gorgeous “Sand and Sea” paper collection. Of course, I couldn’t help using my favourite embellishments as well and last but not least I enjoyed playing with my latest stamps set!

PRODUCTS  I  USED:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
SAND AND SEA Paper Collection
(I used both paper packs – 12″ x 12″ and 8″ x 8″)
Layered Die-cut Embellishments “SAND AND SEA”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

In general this layout is not a complicated one.

I stamped the words on a sheet of pattern paper and cut them out. I cut the background paper at some places and distressed the openings. I used paper strips which I entangled into the cuttings and as a final touch I added the stamped words. One of the words (“boy”) I used as a part of the title.

Here are a few close-up photos…

Gerry’s Distress Piercing Wheel  added a great touch to the strips – It looks as if it was sewn.

I am also using that tool to trace the photos.

For matting the photo I used 8″ x 8″ pattern papers.

I hope you enjoyed my project today!

Happy crafting!
